If you're a 'globalist', then is this the behavior you want to be standard in the new global community? No? Then, the behavior must be punished.
If on the other hand, you're not a 'globalist', then the 'immigrant' must be expected to live within the laws of the land he immigrated to, right? Therefore, he must be punished.
The only way this makes sense is if the judge is a self-hating liberal, riddled with guilt over his 'privilege', seeking to 'even the score'. Sick!
