I can get the same thing I get at a restaurant for a lot less too if I cook it myself at home, or even for free if I eat at a friend's house. Stealing is stealing... maybe you can justify theft in your mind, I can't. Maybe I'm just from a different time or something.
They are charging you to watch 25% advertisements that they get paid to broadcast. The news channels can be streamed free online. Networks also show reruns that have long lost their copyright and are in the “free” domain. But you’re paying for it all!
You can get most programming FREE without piracy or grey areas anyways.
