In about a half hour, hubby and I are going to go pick up his new Harley. It’s going to be a hot one today so I’m not looking forward to the ride all that much. But I figure I have to be there for her maiden voyage.
Oh and I can’t believe I said yes to such an expensive bike! Even worse than that, when he tentatively mentioned it, I was the one pushing him to go ahead and get it. He so worth it! Anything that makes him happy.
We quit jobs and moved here from Mexifornia , intending to only work part time so and stay in the 10% bracket, our version of going Galt. But then Trump came into the picture, making us want to be part of the economic recovery. Hubby can be covered by the VA for medical. But we were paying an arm and a leg for me. That’s a big part of why he took this job. Now he says he needs to work until I’m 65, which wasn’t at all what we planned. Isn’t that sweet? So a one time purchase of a motorcycle is nothing… As long as he doesn’t want something like that every year, lol!
