The same worldwide left that wants to reinstate that very concept, just with them in charge?
Better? Economically, sure.
But I’m under no fantasy that anyone thought that the social and political set-up was anything but absurd.
I hope that what emerges is just a better SA where these people start working together for once in their 100 years instead of always looking for the first chance to shove a shiv into some other ethnic groups back.
