I have been against NAFTA since it was first mentioned.
I am against all free trade agreements. Let everyone buy and sell where they want and who they want to. Canada will survive, adapt or sink.
I was very upset to find that my province is selling Hydro power to the states at less than I pay myself, as a Canadian. Everyone just pay world price and can afford it or do without.
Why don’t we just annex Canada, build the wall with Mexico, and be happy?
Yeah, as a Canadian, I wouldn’t quite describe us that way. We are virtually identical culturally, but very different politically. Or rather other Canadians are. Not myself. It has taken me a long time to figure it out, but Canadians are far left of center compared to Americans.
I recall my father regarding the BC Liberal party as “far right”. I had to laugh inside. Totally different view of things from myself.
