Just like Planned Parenthood, Merkel invited her knowing she would get hammered...and like a foolish child she bought it hook, line and sinker. You really think Merkel, who lives and breathes Obama, wanted her to be successful??????
I don't really know what motivated Merkel's invitation. It could just as well have been an effort to use Ivanka to shore up her relationship with the President. But I don't know.
What was foolish was to be so unprepared to share the international stage with powerful women. Ivanka had no real answers to the questions, no concrete insights ..just generalities and some stuff about being new to the position and there to learn.
