A US Marine artillery unit has been deployed to support the Kurds. No doubt they have anti aircraft missiles for their defense against our Turkish NATO allies. Turkey has always protected ISIS.
The Kurds needs to get antiaircraft missile systems ASAP and Erdogan needs another painful lesson against some target inside Turkey.
The Turks are planning an “Operation Albanians” for the Kurds. Just like the good old days of their great grandfathers.
There is a large Kurd population in Turkey. Mess with the Kurds is asking the Kurds to mess with you. If Turkey keeps it up, there will be retaliation inside of Turkey. I thought that after WW II there would be World Peace, it looks like its still a myth.
If the Kurds have anti-air capability the Turkish campaign will be short and unsuccessful. Arming the Kurds will end our relationship with Turkey. Fine. Build a new air Base in Kurdish territory. Or, ask Israel to provide the anti air weapons.
