It’s the price of national cowardice.

There were the choices of going to war against nations sponsoring terrorism or of turning our nation into a police state in an effort toward civilian police detection of foreign enemy threats.

Our nation has no will to fight, so the decision was made to routinely search Americans and the personal effects of Americans in an effort to detect whatever kinds of lawbreaking.

A TSA guy asked to have a separate inspection of my cell phone. He knew it was dumb and basically apologized and said it was a required random inspection.

These guys are “mailing it in”, collecting a paycheck.

They know their job is a joke.

The average janitor in a high rise is more important to every-day security than the TSA inspectors.

Today’s airports are just gigantic fourth amendment violations and a symbol of lost American liberties.
