Thanks for the correction—for some reason I associated Berkeley with LA, not San Fran.
It’s OK, but a lot of people in San Francisco would never forgive you for that! People in San Francisco pride themselves on their hatred for all things L.A., and are smug in their perception of themselves as superior by virtue of their status as a Northern Californian. And at the top of their list of reasons for such is the perceived anti-intellectualism of L.A., as evidenced by the fact that Berkeley is in the Bay Area, not L.A.!!!
