The new can never be identical to the old. Think a line of strings, each with their own energy. When the first string is destroyed, its energy is coupled with the energy of the new, closest parallel universe. This excessive energy transforms the known into a new version of the known. As this new universe now has the added energy from the first, it vibrates off the excessive energy to the next string in line....and so forth and so on, like falling dominos, down the line. Energy out in motion, stays in motion.
