Recently I spoke with an acquaintance about to go on her first trip to Europe. She felt safe about some of the countries, unsafe about others. I said that Switzerland is very safe as every adult male is a member of the militia and has guns in their houses. It appeared that she had no idea about the Swiss being an armed society. She probably thinks that our dangerous inner cities are that way because our gun control laws are not tough enough. Our dishonest media really keeps people uninformed.
