Because people choose to ignore or explain the behavior away, it doesn’t make the behavior right. I can hide my head in the sand, but that does not make bad behavior acceptable.
It is still bad behavior. And whether or not it matters to me is irrelevant.
A very interesting comment considering that “Pleasure Island” is what the DNC now subsist in and where they think civil rights should be.
And like the fictional Pleasure Island the real world version can all too easily produce emotive, irrational brutes who confuse kindness with goodness and tolerance with virtue.
As far as I can recall the last time progressives cared about a Democrat cheating was when Gary Hart was caught. After his presidential campaign tanked as a consequence it seems that the idea arose that if only they hadn’t run the story, protected Hart instead, he might have won.
When Clinton came along a few influential media types decided to carry his water and do what they could to prevent another Republican administration. Problem is that with Clinton his cheating heart was only the tip of the coke-snorting, influence peddling pay-for-play, drug-running, Arkancide nightmare that is the Clintons.
The media got him elected twice, with the help of Ross Perot (you cannot tell me he wasn’t in it as a spoiler, especially when he got out of the race once because the Democrats (Clinton) had pulled their act together BUT jumped back in when they were in trouble), but in for a penny is in for a pound and they soon had to circle the wagons for much more than infidelity.
It’s a process that scars the conscience, such as they were, and soon enough Democrats winning at any cost was all the only remaining “value”.
At the same time there is not nothing left of the old extreme left that is considered extreme by the left anymore, not to mention that they’ve shifted the idea of center substantially to the left as well so that unrepentant Alinskyites / McGovernites may be viewed by them as right of center!
So Democrats aren’t being hypocrites because their values have nothing to do with anything but victory or silencing opposition. DNC land has become Communazis ... they even have their own version of taqiyya, and their militants like those in the Antifa even wear similar costumes to many Islamists (though at the moment they are swinging bike locks or using small knives rather than big knives or guns ... give the Proper Little Eichmanns time though and that’ll change).
They are not to be lived with or tolerated: but defeated.
In the private sector, just stating your opinion can get you in hot water.

When a woman is told “You look good today” becomes grounds for a sexual harassment problem, this country is in deep trouble.
When they have driven the males in the workplace to NEVER speak to them, their next battle cry will be “He’s IGNORING me on the job”.
I have worked a fair number of places in my life & being told “I looked good today in a new outfit or with a new haircut or whatever” was NEVER a sexual harassment item. I was raised to believe that was a COMPLIMENT.
These wussies need to write a new playbook for themselves. Glad I am no longer in any position to hire someone to work for me.
