Marine Le Pen has lambasted by her rivals, criticised by leading economists and business leaders, declared public enemy number one by most politicians outside her party and had war declared on her by sextremists Femen.
Yet on Sunday in the first round of the French presidential election somewhere between seven and eight million French people are expected to vote for her as the next president of France.
We asked some of those voters who attended her raucous rally in Paris to tell us why, in just one sentence or two.

I was trying to find accurate results, but apparently the media have decided that their predictions are more accurate than actual vote tallies, whatever those might be. Sure can’t find them anywhere.
Have been watching this so far:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ydto3Iyzic&feature=youtu.be
Still am waiting to hear what the final real election results are, but I fell asleep when the #2 guy was on, with a live result.
He’s pretty darned boring.
Italian media outlet Repubblica is reporting a slightly stronger lead for Le Pen:
Le Pen 24.3%
Macron 22.5%
Fillon 19.4%
Melenchon 18.2%
Mapped, the results split the country between Le Pen in the east, and Macron in the west: (Pic: Repubblica)
These are apparently official results from the French Ministry of the Interior - 36 of 107 departments counted - https://www.theguardian.com/world/ng-interactive/2017/apr/23/french-presidential-election-results-2017-latest
Wow, she is pretty extreme.
Wait, that looks like Trump doctrine!
Maybe because the majority of French people don’t hate France.
But she is completely on board with continuing the usual leftist polices that are responsible for the catastrophic birth rate decline.
The welfare state is going to collapse whether she kicks the muzzies out or not. If she wins, that means the muzzies will take over later rather than sooner. And that is the bottom line.
Always best to lead with good solid supporters.
The French. /eye roll
Can we as U.S. Citizens contribute to her campaign? I heard Russia is already planning to hack the election according to liberal sources, but it never hurts to donate for campaign ads too. /sarc
Macron is the only one she will likely lose to. What are the chances that 500K double-ballot oops was part of the EU/globalist establishment assuring Macron comes in ahead of Fillon and Melenchon?
The greatest contribution by an American will be Barry’s vocal support for her rival. Nobama played a role in the Brexit vote hopefully he’ll do the same in France.
Funny how the media idiots are saying that no “mainstream” candidates are advancing. If they were unable to get even 20 percent or make it to the top two how can they be considered “mainstream”? I don’t think 19.5 percent qualifies anyone as mainstream. The fact is the French, like the U.S., no longer want a “mainstream” candidate anyway. Mainstream means you really stand for nothing but just to get along and get elected.
Birth rates are well below sustainability. The welfare state requires a strong 'next generation' tax base.
One way or another, France will be lost to the locusts.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
Per the France map, it is funny how leftist liberals always dominate the coast.
With 63 of 107 departements counted | At 23:33 CEST
Macron 22.99%
Le Pen 22.7%
What chance does Le Pen have to win in the runoff?
Le Pen 24.3%
Macron 22.5%
Fillon 19.4%
Melenchon 18.2%

This means that LePen doesn’t have a chance in the final round. The ones who voted for Fillon and Melenchon (both leftists) will vote for Macron.
