I have shells from 50 years ago...I have some displayed in window shelves in a hall and in both baths...I have cut down the collection over the years....I loved beach walking and looking for treasures...I have shells from Jamaica, Haiti, Florida, South Carolina, Mexico and Goleta, CA.
Good memories!

Enjoy your project! Sounds like a winner!

Wonderful, fabulous, awesome, fantastic! I also have shells my childhood, too! And, like you, from various trips. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring back any shells from the Hawaiian Islands, and I can’t recall any specific seashells from those islands anyway. I still find it impossible to come home from my local beach “empty handed!” I love to wade in the water, picking up “treasures!” I love low tide. Many days, Louie and I are at the beach at dawn! It’s a dream come true living within walking distance, although with my bad back, we drive. After an hour, I’m totally lame and totally sore from all the bending over to pick up shells, but I NEVER tell that to my doctor!
