My doctor told me there was a procedure that’s fairly new, but it’s changing the game in cosmetic surgery. It’s called “fractora,”

Since it's "fairly new", there's a very good chance your doctor has performed very few, if any, of these procedures, and you were his guinea pig.

yeppers.

experience is EVERYTHING in medical procedures. EVERYTHING!

first questions: How many of these have YOU done?

second question: What complications have occurred in YOUR procedures?

third question: What’s the worst complication that has occurred in a patient of YOURS as a consequence of this procedure?

third question: What is YOUR complication percentage for this procedure?

if doc is evasive, offended, hems and haws a lot, go find another doc.

also, look up everything you can find about this procedure AND this doc online, including reading the medical papers at pubmed.gov.

do NOT hesitate to travel out of town to the best doc who’s done the procedure the most times successfully if you can afford it and/or the out-of-town doc is covered by your insurance. it’s foolish to go to the local yokel doc JUST because of convenience, particularly if the procedure has major live altering consequences (either good OR bad).

They don’t call it medical PRACTICE for nothing!
