If you think that, YOU WERE NOT LISTENING. He might have made one comment early on that could be construed that way; but, the rest of the time he NEVER LET HIMSELF BE DEFINED as deporting millions of children. Always pivoted to criminals and gang members.
I know this because, like many of us here, I watched dozens of his speeches, most of his interviews, and of course all the debates.
The pivot on DACA did not take place until after the election.
He repeatedly said he would undo ALL of Obama’s executive actions on immigration.
Wrong. He said he would immediately end DACA.
WE WERE LISTENING.
During his August Phoenix immigration speech, Trump unambiguously stated that his new administration “will immediately terminate President Obama’s two illegal immigrant amnesties, in which he defied federal law and the Constitution….”
You admit as much: “He might have made one comment early on that could be construed that way”. Then you say that he didn’t: “he NEVER LET HIMSELF BE DEFINED as deporting millions of children.” You can’t have it both ways.
In any event, this thread is about the wall and many of us agree with prioritizing removals by targeting felons first.
But don’t piss on our legs, FRiend, by yelling and tell us it’s raining.
