Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is trailing Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) in a match-up for the 2018 Senate race, a new poll finds.
In a race between the two, Castro leads slightly, with 35 percent, compared to Cruz’s 31 , according to the the Texas Lyceum poll. When Cruz is polled against Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX), the two are tied at 30 percent.

I despise Cornyn, but I’ll vote for him if he’s the only one on our side of the ballot. It is much easier to vote for Cruz.

That said, we have to keep the seat RED and if it means holding our noses to do that, then that is what we have to do...
And I think President Trump, unless something comes out before then, he will support Cruz to keep the seat RED...
And Texas has a great Gov. that supports our President...

I only ask because I wonder if it's because a lot of Texas Republicans still had butt-hurt and sat on their hands when it came time to vote in Nov.
I seem to remember several Tx Freepers that were quite obnoxious in their hate for Trump and I doubt they sucked it up and voted for Trump.

And we wonder why Democrats are ever able to win anything.
That's why the Demonrats are still around, because Republicans will sit out on "principles" while a Demonrat will vote for & support another Demonrat no matter what.
Principles are fine in the primaries but when the general election arrives you want the one closest to your ideals and that's not going to be a Demonrat!

To be honest, I regularly switch to CNN Headline News in the morning to check out Robin Meade. Does that make me a pig? I hate CNN, but Robin is too beautiful to pass up IMO.
And for presidential qualifications are you gonna look at his conclusion before he decided to run or his rationalization after he decided to run. I’m not sure why people like you insist on ignoring his lies, excusing them, and cheering them on so he can lie again.

There were plenty of knives (Some held by smiling faces no less) out for me as much or more simple for who my FRiends were then for my views.
