Washington (CNN)US authorities have prepared charges to seek the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, US officials familiar with the matter tell CNN. The Justice Department investigation of Assange and WikiLeaks dates to at least 2010, when the site first gained wide attention for posting thousands of files stolen by the former US Army intelligence analyst now known as Chelsea Manning. Prosecutors have struggled with whether the First Amendment precluded the prosecution of Assange, but now believe they have found a way to move forward.

I don’t care about his motives; I care that he revealed the shocking extent to which the information we receive is controlled, censored, and manipulated.
After they finish putting in jail all those whose crimes were revealed by wikileaks, THEN they can worry about prosecuting Assange.
Otherwise, the motives of those seeking to prosecute him (and who are not outraged about the rest) must be suspect.

Seems like it’s coming from Jeff Sessions, who said at a press conference today Assange’s arrest was ‘a priority’.
