Funny, on ABC news radio they said ‘he said “God is Great” in Arabic’. It was a strange way of wording out - like ABC didn't want to actually say “Allahu Ackbar”.
This isn't new. They did the same damn thing when that Russian ambassador was killed a few months ago in Turkey.
The live translation was "God is the greatest, do not forget Aleppo". But you can HEAR the assassin yell allahu akhbar.
Over and over.
Written reports also contained this "oversight", helpfully translating it to "god is the greatest".
Riiiight.
