Interesting - did not know that. My Big Book of WMD (I think it’s from the Army) defines them as NBC only. The expanded definition would certainly change a lot arguments on Iraq if anyone bothered to use it.
I’m sure the international war crimes definition of WMD is quite different from the definition used to prosecute “regular crimes” against US Code.
