President Donald Trump has cracked down on illegals in the United States, as he promised during his campaign.
ICE provided the stats to the Washington Post showing how arrests of illegals rose 32.6 percent during the first few weeks of Trump’s take-over of the White House.

Good. The word is out among the illegals.
Think of all the welfare costs we will save.
Don't worry, about 30,000,000 of those will deport themselves once there's no way for them to earn a living.

How about just getting the nearly 1 million that are considered removable for crimes committed. Seems to me that Trump needs to up his game here considerably. At 10k per month he’d still only kick out about half of those he’s committed to get out. He needs to be working at 40k to 50k per month. 21,000 is just the stink in the bottom of the pan.

As soon as congress gets off of its collective dead ass and does the work they were hired to do instead of resisting Trump at every turn. They too are part of the SWAMP!

Yeah, and unfortunately, at that rate Trump would engender a lot of hate from all the Hispanics, so we can only hope that there is a multiplier effect and that we will see large numbers self-deporting just because of the heightened deportation activity even though it’s far short of what’s really needed. and I would guess that really pinching the employers so that the jobs magnet goes away is also a necessary element.
Exactly. I get a kick out of people who can't wait for these posts so they can harrumph "Well, that's just [fill in the number of illegals arrested] out of 35,000,000". How many of those have burned up the phone lines of their Congressmen and Senators telling them to work with Trump? I have (although it's a waste of time with mine being all DemocRATs).
We need to see the south bound lanes into Mexico jam packed like a disaster movie.
When it reaches 500,000 or so and gets a lot of hysterical publicity from MSM the total numbers will start going down pretty rapidly without arrests. Maybe 500k is too high. I hope so.
Combine the arrests with shutting down employment opportunities, like fining and jailing employers who use them including housewives who hire lawn service wetbacks and the total will self diminish rapidly. Also need to begin to offer new mothers the option of taking their now citizen child back to wherever with them or giving them up immediately for totally anonymous adoption.
