Hillary Clinton had to eat humble pie twice on election night.
Clinton apologized to President Obama for her bruising loss — right after calling Donald Trump to offer him “congratulations,” according to a new book chronicling her 2016 presidential bid called “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign.”
“Mr. President, I’m sorry,” she said, according to a Washington Post review of the book due out Tuesday.
The White House urged Clinton to concede as Trump claimed battleground states — some by slim margins — because Obama wanted to avoid a messy recount.

"Messy recounts" would've further served their purpose of discrediting Trump. You know the mainstream media wouldn't report anything too detrimental, only enough to plant seeds of doubt.
I don't believe any of these stories--they're being presented to show Obama as a statesman, and Clinton as a classy, magnanimous candidate who only wanted "what's best for the country."

I understand what you're saying, and yes, the Clintons have a way of coming back just when everyone thinks they're done. However, even they can't hold back the hands of time. It wouldn't surprise me if neither Bill or Hillary is still among the living in 2020. Bill looks horrible these days, and during the campaign, it was obvious that Hillary has some serious health issues. Even if she is still around and in reasonably good shape in 2020, I don't think she can convince the party to back her for a third run at the White House. A lot of younger party members feel she stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders, and will never forgive her for that. The party establishment backed her to the hilt, only to see her on the losing end of what many called the biggest upset in the history of American politics. They don't want to get burned yet again. Also, President Trump's approval ratings are rising despite the fact that the left has hit him with everything they've got. By 2020, he will be an even more formidable candidate that he was in 2016.

I highly doubt Hellary apologized to anyone with the state of mind she was in after realizing her loss. No way.
No one talks about (or dares to diss her) for not standing before all on election night giving a condolence/concession speech .she had to sent Podesta out instead...........if a Republican did that the media would have a fit!
