Price’s opponent in 16 got 38.5% of the vote or something like that, that means in an open seat a generic dem should get 40-45% of the vote no matter what... And that’s about what they are saying this guy will get... this isn’t any surge, its just the normal average behavior of this district... of course this 40-45% was before he admitted on TV he doesn’t even live in the district.
However, this is a big old nothingburger either way. Because GA has run off elections when no one gets to 50%, the Dem won’t squeak in because of a fractured Republican field. He’ll get his 40-45%, face a run off against the leading Republican and then lose by 10-15 points if not more.
