State officials are investigating the theft last week of equipment from a Cobb County precinct managers car that could make every Georgia voters personal information vulnerable to theft.
The equipment, used to check-in voters at the polls, was stolen Saturday evening, Secretary of State Brian Kemp said Monday.
“Polling equipment containing information on every Georgia voter has been stolen”
Why would they give information on every Georgia voter to each precinct captain?
“The applications capable of holding 7 million voter records do not generally run on laptops.”
Even my low end laptop can hold and process that many records.
But I see no reason why they would allow a precinct captain access to all the voters.
You and I should not have designed it like that.
It is always more interesting when the ball of twine is unraveled.
Thanks.
