In the fight of his career, O’Reilly’s side swings back on harassment charge
Washington Post ^ | April 17, 2017 | Paul Farhi

All at once, Bill O’Reilly is fighting for his TV life. The future of O’Reilly’s long career at Fox News may hinge on a sexual-harassment accusation raised by a woman named Wendy Walsh, who has alleged that O’Reilly propositioned her in a Los Angeles hotel in 2013, then retaliated against her when she rebuffed him........

......In view of the stakes involved, O’Reilly’s camp is vigorously contesting Walsh’s allegation, in an unusually public way. His advocates have challenged details of her story, as well as some of the media reporting about it........

It is good O'Reilly is finally fighting back instead of reaching for the checkbook. Doing that made him look guilty.

O’Reilly is being targeted because he has made tough, frank comments about the real problems affecting Black Americans.

13 million worth of checks between Fox and BOR.

You can stick a fork in the blowhard. He is done.

Sounds like only he said/she said

I noticed all these allegiations against O'Reilly came at a time that FoxNews was the only network defending Trump.

It is my personal opinion that powerful liberals (the Clintons, Obama, etc) offered sweet deals to women to attack O'Reilly. That way they could not defend Trump.

It has been revealed that the DINGBAT DNC chairman had a propaganda campaign setup to accuse Trump colluding with Russians.

The way Russia is treating Trump (and getting burned badly by Trump), it appears this to be a lie.

If the Russians colluded with Trump, they would be crying foul over Syria as well as other things right now.

Is there proof? Does she have audio or video? I am not on BOR’s side, per se, but ANYONE can accuse a public figure of ANYTHING. If she has proof, fair enough. But I am fed up with accusers being believed, simply because they say something happened. The ACCUSERS of Clinton, and all other Democrats, were pretty fearlessly persecuted, but when it is a supposed Conservative, the accuser isn’t usually required to prove their allegations. Period. Wiener was only caught and punished because there was PROOF. Let the truth come out.

The left will do anything to criminalize dissent.

If O’reilly does have to go

Replace him with someone more conservative. That’ll show the lib a-holes

How many leftist-operative females posing as conservatives have been hired by Fox solely for the purpose of taking Fox down?

This isn't about BOR.. This is about the leftist wet dream of beheading Fox.

Non disclosure agreements are worthless when your opponents can replace the payments.

So it’s back to he said, she said; without evidence.

No one claimed BOR offensive behavior while they were working at Fox, even anonymously since the 2004 case.

So he has to put up with the claims, like any famous person has to from time to time. Only difference is the deep pockets of his political enemies.

Just like in election politics, there’s no concept of fairness and BOR is an election entity.

Falafel-Loofah Boy is finished. Andrea Mackris, his ex-wife, and now all these other bimbos are gonna take down “Anchorman.” For me, he’s always been an insufferable bore and an unwatchable horse’s @$$.

Amen. “Don’t dip your pen in the company inkwell.”

And these days, don’t even look crosseyed at a female employee, or you run the risk of a harassment claim. Don’t ask about personal life, spouse, children...don’t comment on dress or appearance...don’t attend company social activities without your spouse, or if single/unmarried, not at all...don’t laugh, tell self-deprecating stories, or speak of anything except the task at hand.

This sounds like your typical "he said-she said" deal.

She's hired a lawyer and is making this allegation months after the incident with no proof?

In the last paragraph of the article, the attorney says she wanted to spare her children the bad publicity. This is splashed all over the press now. Avoid publicity? Yeah, riiiight.

O'Reilly's gone on offense here. He needs to. Winning in court is not about who's telling the "truth" or not but who sounds like they are.

This all smells funny to me. I don't care if O'Reilly made a pass at this gal. Happens in the world all the time. He wasn't her boss. He was doing her favors. Maybe he asked for a favor in return. Who cares? That's his business.

But this gal wants money. She denies that now but wait, she wants her pot of gold. She sees a big payoff here. Is she a gold-digger?

I don't watch O'Reilly so I don't have a dog in this fight. But it appears that Walsh is trying to screw the pooch on this one.
