This is important. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so there is no article to post other than my source in Wikipedia, but I just noticed that the infamous Jamie Gorelick is on the Board of Directors of Amazon.com. This almost certainly means she is pretty big buddies with Bezos, since I doubt he would put such a "political" figure on his board if he were not extremely comfortable and confident in having them around Amazon.

That is yet another bold line and box on the org. chart of Clintonista/Democrat vermin to be monitored and combatted.

After all, Gorelick has emerged as a key legal ("ethics") advisor to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. Her potential nefarious influences lie not only in the more distant past of her notorious role with "The Wall" which helped the 9/11 terrorists to escape scrutiny by our intel, her role on the 9/11 Commission which she never should have been allowed near, her corrupt fiasco of the mega-billion dollar Fannie Mae debacle, etc. etc.

I have no doubts that having POTUS Donald Trump is far far better than any of the alternatives, but that does not mean we have to be comfortable with the roles of Jared or Ivanka. I don’t trust them and I certainly don’t trust them when relying upon Jamie Gorelick.

"... Gorelick has emerged as a key legal ("ethics") advisor to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

Prove it! Until then, it's Fake News.

Ivanka being friends with Dina Powell and, she says, good friends with Huma Weiner is what bothers me.

The fact of the matter is that Trump was bound to make concessions. The problem is that he's making concessions before anything that can't be instantly undone by the next President that wants to issue Executive Orders or use the authority of the President alone can undo.

Ryan stabbing him in the back over repealing Obamacare was the signal that everyone could pile on Trump because Republicans in Congress were still going to fight him rather than support him or even make deals with him.

We're still far better off than we would have been with Hillary. If that's sufficient to make you happy there's no reason not to stay in the peanut gallery cheering Trump on across the board rather than selectively. If you were hoping he'd be able to twist arms in Congress and clean out the Executive Branch right away you should be letting his people know how you feel about some of the people around him.

As for Congress, that's as much if not more our problem than his. It's the voters who put those folks in Congress and without changes there Trump is fighting a war on three fronts which keeps him focused on things other than his own agenda.

The Deep State strategy ever since he won has been to keep Trump tied down like Gulliver. That's obvious from the fact that they kept beating the "Russian Puppet" drum even after their own people said there was no collusion and the fact that McCain went to Syria to see his Muzzie Homies a month ago right after Trump once again said he wasn't going into Syria. Well, that worked out well, just like the last few times McCain goes to Syria there's a big "dead children" event in Syria not long after he leaves. In the case of the most recent incident, ISIS even was telling the media that something big would happen the next day on the evening incident took place.

As I've said in another thread, Trump more than likely has doubts about trusting the Intel he gets and the people giving it to him or he'd have done a lot more damage with the cruise missile strike.

IMHo, the best thing people can do is to bury the Congress Critters from their own State with phone calls and letters. Emails probably just go straight to the bit bucket after an automated thank you response is generated which leaves the sender feeling like they've done something without staff people having to waste their precious time on anything associated with constituents.

I severed all ties with Amazon after the following appeared in the NY Post in February:
A top lawyer for internet retailer Amazon is taking a victory lap for the company’s role in the Ninth Circuit Court’s decision to retain the temporary restraining order halting President Trump’s travel ban.
“Proud of @AGOWA, the Amazon legal team that helped on the case, and amici — who all made today’s 9th Circuit ruling possible,” David Zapolsky, Amazon general counsel, wrote Thursday night on Twitter.

Gorelick was awarded $979,395 Amazon stock in 2016 for serving as a director of the company. Plus expenses, of course.

Interesting and thank you for your research and post. I had always associated just Janet Reno with that awful policy - ‘The Wall’. Thanks for the information. Time to do more reading.
