I will be interviewed on @foxandfriends by @ainsleyearhardt starting at 6:00 A.M. Enjoy!
TOO COOL you iz — love, love LOVE that story!!!
Reminds me of our woodworker daughter who lives across the road and is currently converting their attic into a playroom. Can’t wait to read your post to her. “;^>
I started with an attick!
Funny thing is my daddy had no skills. He came to visit and picked up my bil skill saw and asked “how do I turn this thing on?”
His grandfather was a master carpenter who did beautiful woodwork— one a solid walnut stair case with handmade knell posts and spindles that turned a full circle from top to bottom. Still have his tools although have never used them.
It wasn’t an accident that Jesus was placed in the home of a carpenter to grow into a man
Thanks, ma. Good morning.
I was bragging to hubby, the other day, about your skills.
Now, I’ll brag about you, even more!!
That’s pretty neat. I think you stood in line two or three times when God was handing out talents :-)
You two lovely ladies are too kind.
I found links to the video of the Bee Gees special, but it looks like one needs to register on most of the sites to view it (and I’m not familiar with those sites, so I didn’t want to, though they may be fine). CBS.com has it but one needs to sign up for their service at $5.99/month, but has a free trial (site below lists the artists and songs they performed): http://www.cbs.com/shows/grammys/news/1006822/stayin-alive-a-grammy-salute-to-the-music-of-the-bee-gees/
Here’s the search I did on bing, may be able to watch some of the individual song videos listed w/o registering:

Here’s the video of Pres Trump on F&F (he was interviewed yesterday and they showed it today):

Morning Spunky, sorry, I do not.............
I think Gorsuch’s 1st case is on religious liberty.

I’ve been to that tri-state area too. It’s very beautiful. Although even more economically depressed than where I am.
Thank you for your service again, that was a second deployment then?
I don’t blame you taking a pension early so you could do all the wonderful activities you are doing while you are healthy enough. The money isn’t nearly as important as enjoying God’s beauty. Very Thoreauvian ;)
We decided to pack up our bags there early also. But no pension, just walked away from jobs. Pretty high pain job too. Friends that we were bananas. We considered it going Galt but trying to explain that to some people in California just doesn’t work. But there’s no point working hard and putting money in the bank if you hate where you live. We drove to the mountains every weekend, however we finally decided it’s better to live in the mountains!
You know what I find really scary though? For a country that is. That so many people found it shocking that we had put away enough money to survive for many years. I find that scary because that means so many people are planning on depending on the government in case they get sick or retire. That means they are depending on other people. Even here, where people are not nearly as materialistic, my neighbors kept asking when we were going to work. Is it really that odd to be able to not work for a couple of years? I think everybody should have that much in savings, what if there’s an illness or something? Or a revolution? (tangible investments, I need to start thinking about those ) Having to depend on the government just makes people vote the way the government wants them to vote.
Morning, lysie!
Perfect breakfast to go with my cup of joe ;-)
Sorry, looks like first case, considering a federal workplace discrimination claim:
