Reorganizing the Executive Branch: We Need Your Input! (FReep this survey)!

(video at link)

On March 13th, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order that will make the Federal government more efficient, effective, and accountable to you, the American people. This Executive Order directs the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to present the President with a plan that recommends ways to reorganize the executive branch and eliminate unnecessary agencies.

President Trump wants to hear your ideas and suggestions on how the government can be better organized to work for the American people.

Share your ideas below by June 12th!

TOPICS: Government
KEYWORDS:
The survey embedded on that page asks which agency(ies) you'd like to reform, which agency(ies) you'd like to eliminate, and if you have any ideas on management reform.

My response included the following:

There should be a very simple principle you should follow (in accordance with the 9th and 10th Amendments): if a function is not delegated to the United States from the people and the states, then it isn't proper for the United States Government to perform that function (it is usurping power and stripping individual responsibility).

The key to "making American great again" is to have a bottom-up approach: individual responsibility, individual communities supporting their residents, and individual states accepting the responsibilities of being sovereign...only relying upon the federal government for those areas where responsibility has been explicitly delegated. And then the federal government should focus on those delegated areas to gain maximum bang for the buck.

This will also "drain the swamp" as the swamp monsters will have neither the money nor the power needed to feed their voracious appetites.

While I recognize that this is probably a waste of time to complete, if enough people have similar sentiments, then there might be a slight possibility of our ideas being lifted, plagerized, and adopted.

It’s a given that Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and explosives should be the name of a convenience store and not a Federal Bureau.

They need to seriously do a value stream analysis, with the American public as the customer... and eliminate as waste every activity, expenditure and waste that does not produce significant net value.

I’ve never heard of ‘the White House’ asking citizens about anything. Is this on the up and up?

It is never a waste of time to reply. The government can only represent us if we tell them what we want. They are asking for our input. It is our duty.

My response was very similar to yours. How many millions of others feel the same way? If the President knows and can document the level of support he has, that will carry weight with Congress and the Courts.

We are the tools for draining the swamp. It’s the only time I’ve ever wanted to be a tool and even proud of it ;)

The survey site seems to let you only pick one item from the pull downs offered. Select one and then the next and the first clears. ??
