The head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Scott Pruitt, has called for America to exit the Paris Climate Agreement signed by Barack Obama last November. In an interview with FOX and Friends, Pruitt said that Paris [agreement] is something that we need to really look at closely. Its something we need to exit in my opinion.
Its a bad deal for America, he continued. It was an America second, third, or fourth kind of approach. China and India had no obligations under the agreement until 2030. We front-loaded all of our costs.
During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump was a prominent critic of the deal, promising to cancel it, and this week he refused to sign a statement endorsing the agreement. Although Trump could not instantly pull America out, he could initiate the process for the countrys exit.

In reality, thousands of people are involved in such decisions. Trump, ever the masterful impresario, has taken control of the script (the ‘narrative’ in leftist/MSM speak). Ivanka, Tillerson, or other relevant insiders, are cast as archetypes representing various ideologies, interest groups, etc. You could also see them playing the role of straw (wo)men. In reporting on the palace intrigue, the MSM lays out all sides of the debate; and clearly shows why Trump decided whatever he decided — and that it was the best decision. The rest of the ‘cast’ of players are redundant — not required for the ‘narrative’.
IMHO, this is nothing less than brilliant, on Trump’s part.
It’s a treaty for god’s sake. submit it to the senate for ratification and when it doesn’t pass the issue is DEAD! Move on.
