The sticky point here is that we are all born evil.
And an edict to exterminate the evil will equate to utter sterility.
The godly thing to do is to lift the evil up to God so that some may be saved, and the evil of the rest mitigated.

I could not disagree more. Humans are taught to be evil or an act of evil (shoplifting, bullying, rape, murder etc) is not dealt with.
Evil is either learned or ignored. Birth is not the source.
Many do-gooders cast dollars at groups that help breed such evil as islam, clit-cutting filth in africa etc.
If you have a feral punk that rapes or harms an innocent, you jail them for decades to set the path to evil as a bad path. We do not do that now.
