Judging by the precautionary actions of North Korea's neighbors, the next 48 hours on the Korean peninsula could see substantial volatility, because at the same time as China's largest carrier was said to suspend flights to Pyongyang, the Japanese government has asked the U.S. to provide advance consultation if it is about to launch military action against North Korea, and "has ramped up preparations for emergency situations" according to Japan's Yomiuri Shimbun, including the potential evacuation of some 57,000 Japanese citizens currently in South Korea.
According to the Japanese publication, PM Shinzo Abe stressed that the region is becoming increasingly tense. [U.S. President Donald Trump] has stated that all options are on the table. Its a fact tensions are rising, he said at the Prime Ministers Office after receiving a written proposal calling for tougher sanctions on North Korea from the Liberal Democratic Partys Eriko Yamatani, chief of the headquarters for the abduction issue.
He added that "if an unexpected situation occurs, well ask the United States to cooperate in rescuing the abduction victims."
The Japanese government, like its South Korean peer, has asked for advance consultation regarding any U.S. military action against North Korea during a series of meetings between Japanese and U.S. officials. The U.S. side is said to have responded positively to the request. This is because Japan would need to take appropriate precautions given that, as an ally of Washington, it could be a target for retaliation should the U.S. military attack North Korea, although in order to preserve the "element of surprise" it would not be at all surprising if Trump proceeded to launching a strike unannounced.

just reaccomodate Kim young One
Let loose the palace’s hungry dogs on fat boy and that should solve the problem fast enough.
Yes. We’re about to see just how crazy fat boy is.
The thought of 2 N. Korea satellites flying over us doesn’t bring much comfort....
I truly do not believe nk is capable of causing an emergency. They’re not intelligent enough
It depends on their purpose and capability. Furthermore, we have the capability to neutralize their satellites.
We are unable to do that, so there is no reason to joke about it. There are millions of people in Asia who have a problematic Easter weekend.
Before or after an EMP? Although I wonder if they have those capabilities except having read article by some former Govt military folks (reference by freeper today)...they may.
Assuming they orbited two EMP nukes they could take out much of the power grid and any vehicle running at the time. There would be no damage to the military. People on life support would mostly die. We would fully recover in a few months.
I think, though, the world powers are banking on a coup.
This should have been taken care of 11 years ago by Madeline NOT-SO ALL bright.
I said that then and I’ll say it now, now that it’s 10 times worse: Let’s NOT make nice-nice with them. Now they have the bomb! Great job!
I think so, too. Otherwise we’d be hearing about non-Norks fleeing the country by the thousands.
Apparently you do no know many Koreans. They are sharp. Disorganized, but sharp none-the-less.
Well, that haven’t been sharp enough to get rid of the fat boy, now have they?
That is where the disorganization affects them.
