Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called claims that he used deadly sarin gas on his people a “100 percent fabrication” and insisted the US worked “hand-in-glove” with terrorists to carry out the attacks, he said in an interview published Thursday.
The Syrian strongman said he couldn’t have unleashed a poison gas strike on innocent civilians because the country has gotten rid of its chemical weapons arsenal.
“Definitely, 100 percent for us. It’s fabrication. We don’t have an arsenal. We’re not going to use it,” he told Agence France-Presse.
He said the attack was contrived by the US so it could launch an attack against Syria.
“Our impression is that the West, mainly the United States, is hand-in-glove with the terrorists. They fabricated the whole story in order to have a pretext for the attack,” Assad said.

Well, whoever is guilty of the sarin attack, if there was one, one thing is not in controversy. Our proxies, the “rebels”, are Al Qaeda. If we succeed in overthrowing Assad, Al Qaeda is the beneficiary.

The questions nobody is asking: How can we know where ALL the chemical weapons inside Syria ended up as the civil war progressed and, for a while, began to go badly for Assad — did somebody keep a list? In light of the fact that weapons given to our so-called allies fell into the wrong hands, are we so sure that this did not happen with the chemical weapons inside Syria? Sure enough to rationalize attacking a government that had attacked neither us nor its neighbors?

No, our proxies are the Kurds and Arabs in the SDF. They’re fighting ISIS and will take Raqqa in the near future, the ISIS HQ’s. The canard about us supporting al Qaedda is assad/putin propaganda.
