They should have offered $1000 in cash. Would have been way cheaper. They only offered credit to ride on their crappy planes. Who the hell wants that krappy offer.

Somewhere in United headquarters is a Customer Service Manager walking around with a smug, “I told you so” look on his/her face.

I used to run into this crap when I was doing consulting work. You would probably not be surprised to hear how many life long customers are lost do to things like late fees that won’t be reversed; or by charging for a defective $10 product instead of happily replacing it.

Just give them a little more compensation that what they are asking for. It saves you millions in lost business because some kook has a video camera on their phone.
