You are right and to people who are not predisposed to trash Trump or are simply nervous Nellie gloom and doomers it seems clear.
Trump wanted something from NATO and he got what he wanted. In return he was asked to remove NATO from the “obsolete” list.
Quid Pro Quo, happens all the time and it’s good business.
Yeah, I think what he is saying is that it is no longer obsolete because he is forcing them to change and adapt to deal with threats how he wants them to do it.
I have my issues with a few of his flip flops, but this isn’t one of them.
Seems to me it’s more of a “there’s a new sheriff in town” situation.
Also, NATO’s most important role has always been being a group of supportive cheerleaders for our actions. Since Obama was a man of no action, what the hell was there for them to cheer or support?
Trump has changed that.

So you don’t believe Trump when he says he’s instigated changes in NATO? I’d like to know specifics on what those changes are but I’m not jumping to the conclusion that there aren’t any or aren’t effective.

Yes, I definitely put healthcare in the fail list. I don’t know what Trump sees in Ryan, because Ryan is a useless RINO POS. Personally, I think Trump should have started with the budget and got those corporate tax cuts out the door first. Then took his time to see what a flimsy POS that Ryan care was.
