Reunification would be a huge burden on SK but I’m sure they already have plans drawn up for just such a happy event. After all, it has been their national goal for longer than most of us have been around.

I would expect SK businesses to jump in first. There is a lot of cheap labor in the North just dying (literally) for rewarding work. Send in the farmers right behind them.

I wonder how deep down the Japanese feel about this? I’m sure on the one hand, they will be glad to see North Korea gone, but a unified Korea could turn into a threat, they have never forgotten the occupation.
