Being ready for 60 years is like not being ready. Their equipment is in shambles and it is pointing in the wrong direction.
I wonder if we sent a carrier group to protect South Korea. Mechanized brigades aren’t there to guard the Chinese border.

I recall seeing macho troops from SK and Turkey elbowing each other at the PX in Yokohama. It was an open question as to which was more nuts...

Yeah but for war in the South against the South Koreans and US, not from the north and the Chicoms. I suspect there would be quite a few Chicoms draftees expended as cannon fodder but eventually they would win.

Also as posted China annexing the North would be an interesting turn of events. How would the South react to having the Chicoms across the 38th parallel?
