Interesting that McCANE has the connections with arms dealers. Does he get a kick back/campaign contributions for all the ones he helps sell?

Good question. Not sure. This documents he got donations from Dillon Aero. He worked $350 million in Ukraine aid into last year's National Defense Authorization Act, which he sponsored: STATEMENT BY SASC CHAIRMAN JOHN McCAIN ON NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT CONFERENCE REPORT: "Extends and increases security assistance to the Government of Ukraine to $350 million, including the authorization to provide lethal military assistance. The agreement requires needed Ukrainian defense institutional reforms that will enable Ukraine to fully leverage security assistance investments to maximize defense capabilities and ensure that those capabilities are sustained."

This was something he was pushing hard on since 2015, which would help explain why he attacked Trump over Russia: Push to arm Ukraine roars back in Senate (June 16, 2015) : "While not the focus of its veto threat, the administration argues that the provision “forces the hand” of President Obama on a foreign policy decision that “should rest with the Executive Branch.” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), however, has rejected that notion, saying that a decision from Obama on lethal aid “is long overdue.” “The NDAA doesn’t force the president to provide lethal assistance to Ukraine,” he said in response to the administration’s threat. “Trust me, if there were a way to do that, it would be in the bill.”. . .The push to increase support for Ukraine comes after several senators, including Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk earlier this month. Durbin said after the meeting it was “clear” that Ukraine needed more economic and military assistance, including weapons. “The United States must act swiftly to provide this assistance,” he said. Yatsenyuk’s visit followed Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s request for more military equipment. He told lawmakers “one cannot win a war with blankets.” A senior administration official said that since early 2014, the United States has given Ukraine approximately $195 million in security assistance."

Hard to believe that amount of money would be involved without kickbacks somewhere.
