How could Republicans .. refuse to join ..the ‘Freedom Caucus’? Here’s the real reason
Conservative Review ^ | 04/08/2017 | Jen Kuznicki

Just think of how many weak Republican congressmen we have, that not one of them will stand up and say, “I want to be a member of the House Freedom Caucus.”

..

Cocky members of the Tuesday Group claim they won’t even answer the phone if a Freedom Caucus member calls.

..

The Republican Party has been trying to squander the gains in the House from the tea party since 2010. It’s like high school for the Tuesday Group, a group of liberal Republicans who seem to believe that voters picked them to agree with the Democrats more often than with first principles.

The real reason is they are Democrats in R jerseys.
Uniparty eunuchs who run as Republicans to advance the Democrat agenda.

The Tea Party phenomenon fades instantly a Tea Party candidate becomes a Congressman.

Many of them ran as Conservatives, even Tea Party but learned as soon as they got to DC that instant and permanent wealth inheres in voting as the Chamber of Commerce suggests and not making the Democrats uncomfortable. The Democrats are, in fact, the ruling party. Democrats make up almost the entire upper level of the bureaucracy and leftists and go-alongs make up the rest. Congress really doesn’t have a whole lot of influence in the permanent government since they gave all that up.

Because the Freedom Caucus is only able to obstruct and people don’t run for Congress just to be able to vote No on everything.

How about they vote to keep the promises they ran on?

How about they vote for the principals they swore to uphold?

Or do you have a problem with that?

Because there's little difference between a RINO and a Dem.

They don't believe in freedom from an ever controlling Govt, because they crave the power to control us.

Really?

What sacred “promise” requires the Freedom Caucus to vote WITH Nancy Pelosi to preserve ObamaCare as it is?

What new “principle” is so very important that the Freedom Caucus feels free to ignore America’s ancient principle of “majority rule”? Yes, that ancient principle DOES mean that the 30 or so members of the Freedom Caucus, having presented and promoted their proposals, have a DUTY to submit to the final decisions of the majority.

And why should an elected representative, who neglected to inform voters that he was unable to negotiate in “good faith” with other representatives, be re-elected?

So I find I do have a problem supporting people who act to keep ObamaCare in place, and then go out to raise campaign funds by ranting about ObamaCare’s existence.

The AHCA pretty much kept Obamacare in place. that’s what the freedom caucus voted against.

And what about the Tuesday caucus, or whatever they were called. The moderates had more votes against AHCA then the Freedom Caucus.

Perhaps...but the failure of the Freedom Caucus to unite behind Mo Brook’s simple “Repeal Only” bill shows me that the “brave talk” of the Freedom Caucus is JUST talk.

Isn’t it odd that, after a month of “talk”, no one yet knows what the Freedom Caucus would “accept” in a bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare? Why? Wouldn’t you think Mo Brook’s bill would have their support and create a baseline for further discussion? Why didn’t that happen?

Wouldn’t you think that a desire to negotiate “in good faith” would oblige the Freedom Caucus to communicate a definite position around which the Freedom Caucus would unite? When will that list of essential elements be published? [Crickets chirp...]

I conclude the Freedom Caucus is not negotiating in “good faith”. I could be wrong, but I think that the members of the Freedom Caucus are making too much money “opposing” “ObamaCare to actually, you know, lift a finger to END it....
