The Arkansas General Assembly has declared that pornography has created a public health crisis, leading to a broad spectrum of public health impacts and societal harms. The Assembly also stated that pornography can increase the demand for prostitution and the sex trafficking and slavery of children and young adults, primarily girls.
The Resolution, HR 1042, is an official recognition by the Arkansas government. It is not a law. It reflects the official view of the legislature and a copy of the Resolution is sent to the director of the Department of Health in Arkansas. Similar resolutuions have passed in South Dakota, Utah, and Virginia, and in the State Senate in Tennessee. The Arkansas resolution passed the Assembly on March 28.
Introduced by Rep. Karilyn Brown, the Arkansas resolution in part says, pornography normalizes violence and abuse of women and children by depicting rape and abuse as if such acts are harmless. [D]ue to advances in technology and the universal availability of the Internet, the average age of exposure to pornography is currently 11 to 12 years of age.
Further, exposure to porn may lead to the hypersexualization of teenagers and even prepubescent children and research indicates that pornography is potentially biologically addictive.

There are more asexuals than you think. I know a couple, both genders. Not a couple together, I mean a couple of asexuals. People who just have no desire and actively don’t want to have sex. Period. Both even tried hormones but it didn’t work.
I don’t understand it but neither do I understand exactly how it feels to not feel like the gender you have.
Look. I don’t like the fact that porn now may be too much, and I fear the VR + attachments porn soon available. I despise child porn and I am very concerned about sex slave porn.
But there probably has been some form of porn since a caveman first found a piece of charcoal to draw on a rock wall. And everyone fantasizes, whether they look at videos or not, so what is the difference, really? No one’s sexual fantasies are about platonically eating tea and toast with their fantasy person. Aren’t the thoughts “porn” too? (And of course the books, etc)
I do not want actual children (under 15) to ever see porn. I will agree there. I remember walking along a street with some friends at maybe 12 and seeing one of those porn newspapers that used to be in kiosks that had gotten blown apart in the wind, and there on the ground before me was a newsprint photo of some strange winged creature that somehow I realized was part of the male anatomy.
I don’t understand how Laura could “hate” pot if she likes or doesn’t hate alcohol. One certainly has ruined more lives and families than the other.
You have young sons and so do I. I’d like to think that when the time comes that they will still prefer a real, loving partner to some bubble shaped porn star. Wouldn’t everyone prefer the real thing?
And both sexes should know by marriage age that the opposite sex is not their perfect fantasy. He or she is a real person. Just like they are. Dennis Prager has a ton of stuff about how different men are re sex, and how to go about it all in a moral fashion while taking into account men’s needs - and women’s.
When it comes to the written word, women outclass men in the art of porn.
This is an excellent short animated video from Dennis’s Prager’s PragerU. A religious man’s scientific perspective on the power of the visual for males of our species.

It’s not very long, just a few minutes, and worth a watch.
Thanks. Interesting film.
I of course prefer my wife
20 plus years same girl
I thought it impossible for me given my nature but it’s very easy
I never tire of her....she might tire of me
In the looks dept she’s a solid 9.5-9.9
I’m a solid 5 but I looked better when I was in my 20s....I count my blessings
But I think honestly some guys just can’t get anything but the fantasy porn provides
It’s sad but I guess it beats nothing
But in my life which has entered mid autumn by any definition nothing has brought me more reason to breath then the closeness of a fine woman....
No question for me
It’s the primary reason I don’t drink
Some couples like porn too...hard for freepers to grasp but some girls like it....it’s stimulating and not the soft fuzzy stuff....but the hard stuff.....
Again, you two hit the jackpot. Wonderful. Your wife is beautiful. So funny that just today Dennis Prager on the radio on his male female hour was discussing men’s absolute need for the visual, and how important it is for a wife to keep herself as beautiful as possible over the years. And how it’s not the same for guys. They don’t have to be hot looking. Women want masculine, confident, men who have achieved or on track to success. Not necessarily money, even just success at something, and pride in it, even if the man is a personal trainer or musician or rabbi.
It was an interesting discussion. Women do need to understand how visual men are. (But I did have a question that Dennis wouldn’t probably answer: if women get older does he change them in for a new younger model, since he did that twice already??)
I know that when I get crushes on famous men it is because of their brains and personalities - the pretty boys do NOT do it for me.
