My original request was to give me the teachings of Christ that are equivalent to the Koranic teachings. YOU moved the goalposts by not giving me any of Christ's teachings that are equal to the verses at the beginning of this thread.
You want to refer only to the Old Testament because you can't prove your point by using scriptures in the New Testament. And yet the verses you tried to use in Ezekiel as a proof of your viewpoint are to events that were seen in a vision and aren't even literal. If you can't be honest and admit that Christ's teachings are virtuous, then we are at an impasse.
Let me narrow it down further for you. Can you admit that Christ's teachings AS LAID OUT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT are not on par with those at the beginning of this thread? Can you even go that far?
What is this illogical garbage? You want me extoll the virtues of your deity before you’ll even listen? Who the hell do you think you are, anyway?
Jesus said he was here to fulfill the law. The law laid down by his dad. The law laid down in the O.T. This is the excuse used every time it’s pointed out that Jesus himself said nothing about abortion or homosexuality. Now, you want to conveniently ignore that to have it both ways.
So, which is it? Does Jesus support the O.T. or not? If he does, then I’ve made my point. If he doesn’t, then why do I keep hearing that Jesus condemns people that he never mentions?
