Fairly limited group of casualties, mostly small children, no CW protocol observed by any of the responders or medics, White Helmets just happen to be there to record the atrocity, Assad just scored a big political gain with US public statement that his removal was not a priority, Chinese president due to sit-down with Trump in US
Assad and his military didn’t have much politically or militarily to gain by killing 80 people, mostly kids, WITH GAS (?) when they could have just used a conventional bomb if they wanted to kill soft targets
My bet it was a set up by whatever islamist tribe Turkey is backing right now (ISIS? Al Qaeda?) - since they were quick to jump in and probably helped with the logistics or at least knew how it was done
