A lot of these universities are in states where Republicans control the legislature or governor’s office. Why aren’t they doing anything about this. Especially the state universities where it happens. The state legislatures should be holding hearings and raking these university presidents over the coals about this abuse.

Exactly. That is what I have said on previous threads. It is a practical step which Conservatives can actually accomplish. If even just one state did this, it could serve as an example to the other Republican-controlled state governments. The legislatures control much of the the funding for the state colleges and universities, so they can have lots of influence on what happens on campuses.
