I consider this sexual abuse of children.
A 14 year old can not make his own decisions because of his emotional immaturity. His parents, for their own sick reasons have charted a course for him that will affect him his whole life. They should be arrested and placed on a sex offenders list.
I read an article on the subject of brain research. And, they discovered that females and males don't sync up their brains at the same age (meaning all the connections are finally made). For a girl, it was around 24-25; for a boy, around 27-28.
So, to allow a 14 yr old boy to make such a life altering decision is insane. He cannot make this decision, because he cannot really understand the long-term effects of that decision.
