I have a granddaughter who is a dwarf. She is beautiful, intelligent, and full of life. She is a wonderful combination of efection and mischief, always pulling pranks on me and then wanting to snuggle after the silliness is over. To think that some people would have ended her life as if they were throwing out a defective part on a manufacturing line is terrifying.

at work a younger nurse was telling sorrowfully about why she had to abort her downs unborn baby...had to...all the reasons....too much going in her life, she already had a child that was mildly disabled, lots of money problems, etc etc...of course I think the baby was a girl and she wanted a boy because she already had a girl...

shocked though to hear another nurse talk about her abortion because she wasn't really sure about the guy and it would have been inconvenient at that time in her life....

just...like....that...

I won't condemn the first woman....she's a stressed out emotionally impaired woman with high anxiety and she genuinely felt bad about what she did....but the second one?...she's intelligent and she didn't think to use birth control?...didn't think sex would lead to a baby?

there is very little hope in the younger generations...they are so wrapped up in themselves...shallow, with no foundations except what they want...no God fearing....

all the years of it being pounded into them that "I'm okay..you're okay" is their mantra...

everything is just fine as long as it makes you feel better...
