Just because an action one takes benefits another does not mean the action was taken to benefit the other. Completely different agendas at play between Trump and Saudi over dealing with Assad. Likewise the dems are praising Trump for different reasons than those that motivated Trump to action.

You assume that serving Saudi’s interests and America’s interests are mutually exclusive somehow. Yet America has been working very closely with Saudi Arabia for quite a while and it appears that interests of both nations have been advanced as a result of the relationship.

Whatever Trumps motivations, the results are pleasing to McCain, Hillary and Saudis, who want Assad to fall. Also pleasing to the mainstream media, which hates Christianity. Assad protects Christians in Syria from Shiite jihadis, so he is hated by western liberals. That’s why, whatever Trumps motives, he’s getting praised by all these libs, media, and Saudid

Most 911 hijackers were Saudis

Timothy McVeigh was from Michigan. Do you blame Michigan for the Oklahoma City bombing?

When the 911 report’s pages on Saudi Arabia are declassified, maybe your support for them will be vindicated. Until then, my presumptions are biased against a Muslim dictatorship that finances wihabiism they don’t get benefit of doubt from me

So far the Saudis, McCain, CNN and MSNBC, Hillary, Bill Kristol, the Syrian rebels, Turkey, Lindsey Graham, little Marco, McMaster and Mattis, and the EU all approve.

That tells me a lot.

Of course Netanyahu's judgement isn't infallible.

I was responding to another poster's fallacious Appeal to Authority argument with one of my own.

Go back and read.

“Timothy McVeigh was from Michigan. Do you blame Michigan for the Oklahoma City bombing?”

No, but give me a call when 16 Michigan boys all do an OKC bomb on the same day and ask me again. You’re being a moron to defend Saudi Arabia.
After North Korea, it is probably the most repressive and brutal police state on earth.

Who does he suggest should take Assad's place?
