We’ve had pianists do this in recital at the pre-concerts for the Seattle Chamber Music Festival. It’s well known.
Did you read the comments? Some guy was very critical of the execution, and another informed him that the pianist was Gershwin.
The comments can be such a howl sometimes on You tube!
It often descends into a duel of Mr. Self-Righteous vs. Mr. Know-It-All! LOL!
