However, we do not have proof that Assad was behind the sarin attack. Where is the the proof that it was sarin? I'll admit I haven't seen the pictures, but these days pictures are not proof of anything. I heard that one of the doctors on scene is a convicted terrorist.

Correct we also do not have proof it was sarin.
There are reports of people jerking and seizing and it is suggested that this is a sarin-type response.
