Many former Donald Trump supporters have turned on the President after his decision to retaliate against the Assad regime for its chemical weapons attack.
Nigel Farage, Milo Yiannopoulos Katie Hopkins, right-wing vlogger Paul Joseph Watson, Ukip leader Paul Nuttall and Ukip donor Arron Banks are among the Trump supporters who have been disappointed by their hero.
Mr Farage said: "I am very surprised by this. I think a lot of Trump voters will be waking up this morning and scratching their heads and saying 'where will it all end?'

So Israel would rather have ISIS / Al Nusra at their border than Assad?
OK...
Good comments. “Where will it all end?”
Well, what if it just did?
And what if the crazy NORK guy just took a big step back because of what he saw.
Reagan bombed Libya and after that he didn’t hear a peep from him after that.
First, who's they? Both sides of their civil war have chemical weapons and the opponents of Assad have seemed far more sanguine with using them than Assad has.
Having said that, if you look at my comment, "sending a message" is definitely one thing. The beginning of a pattern is another thing altogether.
I want to see what he (@POTUS) does next.
Well, what if it just did?
See my comment...mitigation #3:
This could potentially be some Machiavellian one-off to demonstrate that there's a new sheriff in town -- when he speaks in future, bad actors may take him far more seriously than when they were used to blowing off his predecessor
Remember, Trump has two bad actors testing his resolve simultaneously; Kim and Assad, w/ Russia, China and Iran sitting back waiting to see how he'd react.
His quick, unexpected, and deadly counterstrike sends a clear message. Hopefully, he has moves two and three planned and ready (whatever that may be).
The true results of this strike won't be clear for weeks but I think he has put to rest the fear that the US was withdrawing from the world stage.
Oh and don't think ISIS feels good about this.
Woods’ response is WIDELY echoed on twitter, just as some of the non-interventionists’ are.
Military spokesman says this was a “one off.” If so, Trump has not hurt himself & may have served notice-—AS HE SAID HE WOULD IN THE CAMPAIGN (”nobody will mess with us. Nobody”) to NORKs & Iran.
How does this concern “us”?
Are Americans dying?
Is our National security at risk?
Is there a alternative?
Do we have no other choice?
“So Israel would rather have ISIS / Al Nusra at their border than Assad”?
Did they say that?
They’ll get over it.
“How does this concern us?

I can’t think of any other choice lets hear yours!
Thank you. Agree.
I have to say, that I think Trump’s reaction is short-sighted and knee jerk. First, there is no way to know with confidence that this was really done by Assad. Secondly, who are they killing and why, and what is the significance in terms of our national security? If it is a rebel stronghold, as stated, would it matter if they firebombed them and killed tens of thousands of people versus a few hundred with Sarin? Why is this any of this our concern? I don’t get it, he campaigned on NOT getting involved in this kind of crap then he dives right in, straining our relationship with Russia in the process. Dumb move, in my opinion. OTOH, I love what Trump is doing overall and this is a very small thing in the big picture, but he shouldn’t let himself get baited like this.
This is perhaps only one of the first of many off-the-wall actions that will continue to confuse and confound those who are ambivalent about Donald Trump. Was I surprised? Darned RIGHT. But my surprise was as nothing compared to the Syrians and Russians, who somehow had come to believe that the past eight years proved they had little to fear from the US.
The objective is not to remove Assad, but to persuade him that some kinds of behavior are simply not tolerated. The Russians had assured us that all stocks of chemical weapons (inherited from Saddam Hussein just before the start of the Second Gulf war) had been accounted for and destroyed. It actually matters little if the stocks of the chemical weapons were used directly by the Syrian government forces, or if ISIS had run a “false flag”, releasing the poison gases stolen from Syrian national military depots. The fact is, they were supposed to have been long since removed and destroyed.
I’ll concede I am one who is worried by this sudden shift in direction and talk of regime change by Tillerson.
I certainly want no part of that and such action would not have my support.
But last night’s strike was proportional, targeted and precise. It was more of a message than anything else. And that message was sent to a very broad and diverse audience...the entire world...including all of us here.
And it profoundly changed the calculus of every US adversary or potential adversary. We live in a different world this morning. Our enemies fear us.
And, for that reason alone this paleoconservative/libertarian supports this strike.
“I am suspicious” For good reason!

Wag the Dog. This smells of it to high heaven.
“Finally a President with some balls..”
Funny how many people start following when there’s a leader on the stage.
Yes, they would. It’s a mistake, but, yes.
Tillerson out saying that Assad being removed is in the works. Amazing timing.
Bingo.
