This was a signal. Plain and simple. The next time you won’t be so lucky so think twice.
This move - target, timing, Etc was the advice and counsel of the best military minds in the world. I trust them. This WAS a setback and more that more than that, this was a very strong message. On behalf of the ppl who died and still suffer...Humble thanks to our President and Commander-in-Chief.

Apparently nearly the exact same plan was presented by the military to Obama, but he refused to sign off on it. And thus we got years of penalty-free usage of chemical weapons.
If you refuse to send a message, you’re sending just the opposite message.
