Can you relate to concerns over bad policy decisions? I love lots of things about Trump, but I’m a paleo-conservative who has seen foreign policy adventurism become an albatross around the neck of presidents like George Bush. I was hoping that Trump would avoid the neo-Con influence of people like McCain and Graham. What does Trump hope to achieve by weakening Assad? Anger Russia? Embolden ISIS?

I surely wished indeed our moves were more domestic such as beefing up our nuke deterence and letting the American people build a defensive militia and private and public civil defense shelters. That would really pi$$ our enemies and they would do damage abroad themselves for nothing.

Hiwever Trump is in a presidentiality hard corner after Assad plaid bad guy but supported Obama by assuring Kerry all chems had been removed.

Agreed. I have my doubts.
I don’t see how a chemical attack could help Assad, anyway. I can’t help but think it’s a setup by ISIS or whatever the heck they call themselves now.

This is a targeted attack. Not massive troop deployment.
